Thomas Anthony Nasce Jr.

Apr 29, 1962 — Apr 6, 2026

On April 6th, 2026, the man, the myth, the legend, Thomas Anthony Nasce Jr. passed peacefully at his home in Ladson, South Carolina.

Born on April 29th, 1962 in Yonkers, New York, Tom was the son of the late Thomas Anthony Nasce Sr. of Starkville, Mississippi and the late Catherine Widman of Tupelo, Mississippi.

Better known as Papa in his last days by his grandbabies, everyone who knew him loved him. He was cherished by his wife, his three children, his six grandchildren and his constant canine companion Roscoe. He loved all of his family so much and they absolutely adored him. He was strong, hilarious and full of life. If he was in the room you could guarantee he was surrounded by a group of people who were laughing at his latest joke. He had one of the kindest and most caring hearts and would give you the shirt off of his back. He was a diehard Yankees, Cowboys and Mississippi State fan. There was always a game on the television at the loudest volume and you had better not interrupt his game!

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him but most importantly by his wife, Kimberly, who after 40+ years must continue life without her beloved partner.

Although he will be missed, his family is grateful he is no longer in pain. His last few days were spent comfortably at home surrounded by his favorite people which was exactly what he wanted.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was proceeded in death by his brother Anthony Nasce of Yonkers, New York and his brother Richard Nasce of Tupelo, Mississippi.

He is survived by his devoted wife Kimberly (Doss) Nasce of Ladson, South Carolina; his daughter, Krysta Nasce of Ladson, South Carolina; his daughter, Alyssa Lacey (Michael) of Dumfries, Virginia; his son, Thomas Anthony Nasce III (Katherine) of Summerville, South Carolina, his grandchildren Gianna and Isabella Nasce; Winifred, Penelope, Theodore and Sullivan Lacey; his sister Mary Lou Alvarado (José); his sister Joanne Nasce-Pugni; his brother Bill Rosa Sr. (Bea); and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who will continue to honor his memory.

It was his wish not to have a big “to do” and thus the family will not be having a formal funeral at this time. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Tom, also known as Tommy, Dad, Papa, and Uncle will be deeply missed and his legacy will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Go Yankees! How bout them Cowboys! Hail State!
