Von Reid "Brick" Hiner

Von Reid Hiner, born Dec 6, 1968 passed away on October 27, 2026 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Detroit, Michigan to Lee and Marie Hiner. Von attended East Bethlehem Lutheran School and Church, and graduated from Chippewa Valley High School in 1987. After the passing of his parents he moved to South Carolina to be with his brother.

Von was an avid bowler with several perfect 300 games. He enjoyed watching football mostly U of M and the Detroit Lions. When not bowling he enjoyed riding motorcycles and made the decision to join the club his brother was in. On November 21, 2025 he became a full patch member of the Boozefighters Motorcycle Club.

He is survived by his brother Jacob (Ronie), nephew Drew, niece Natassia (Sean), great nephews Derrick, Griffin, Barrett, and great niece Meadow. Along with many brothers of the Boozefighters Motorcycle Club.

He was predeceased in death by his parents, two older brothers Dannie and Graham, and nephew Billy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post 166 located at 116 Howe Hall Road Goose Creek SC on November 7th from 2pm-7pm.

Since Von loved his nephew Drew’s dog Moose, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Charleston Animal Society Berkeley Campus.
