Willard "Joe" Alexander
1942-2026 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Willard "Joe" Joseph Alexander of Summerville, South Carolina. Joe passed away at home, surrounded by family, on the evening of February 5th 2026 at the age of 83. Joe was born Willard Joseph (Tilley) Alexander on August 3rd 1942 in Madison Indiana. Joe married Martha Miles Alexander on July 5th 1969. Together they shared 46 years of marriage. He remained faithfully in love with Martha throughout his entire life, missing her with every breath he took. Joe loved to tell stories about the good old days. He loved a warm sunny day and would spend hours outside working in the yard and admiring the flowers. He loved to get his hands in the dirt and plant a good garden. He enjoyed fishing and loved being outdoors. His most precious possessions were his three grandchildren and his one great grandchild. Joe is predeceased by his loving wife Martha Alexander. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Theresa and Greg Howell, granddaughter Amber Forbes and husband Dusty, Grandson Tradd Howell and wife Alyssa, Grandson Brody Howell and great granddaughter Hadley Forbes. Service will be held at 2PM April 3rd 2026 at Summerville Cemetery.To send flowers or plant a memorial tree in memory, please visit our flower store.
