Bud passed away on June 24, 2026 in the Cooper River Nursing Home in Mt. Pleasant, SC after a long illness. He was born on December 22, 1945 in Washington, DC to the late Dorothy Paulsen Fallaw and Bondell "Curly" Turner Fallaw, Sr. In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his wife Linda Anderson Fallaw, brother Clyde Halver Fallaw and sister Dorothy Fallaw Godfrey.
After his family moved to South Carolina, he graduated from Ridge Springe-Monetta High School where he was voted the wittiest in his senior class. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy. Upon his honorable discharge, he went to work as a mechanic for United Airlines in California. After suffering a serious head injury during a bicycle ride, he returned to his family in South Carolina.
In 1986 he married Linda Anderson and the LORD blessed them with a son, Rodney Fallaw. Later Bud and Linda joined Cayce Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Cayce, SC.
Bud is survived by sons Rodney Fallaw of South Carolina and Chance Fallaw of California, sister Jean Hill, nephews Stefan Crismond and Timmy Godfrey and niece Stella Fallaw Ellerbee.
His family would like to thank the staff and nurses for the tender care he received at the Cooper River Nursing Home, and his many friends at Cayce Presbyterian who lovingly supported Bud on his life journey.
