Charles William Dye, Jr

Charles William Dye Jr. "Chuck", 68, of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away in his sleep at his home on October 25, 2026.

Chuck was born July 29, 1958, in Macon, Georgia, to Charles William Dye Sr. and Carol Anne Youngblood. He was proud to have served in the United States Army Military Police from 1976 to 1982.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Tarver Dye; his children, Charles William Dye III, Brandon Tarver Dye, David Horton Dye, Ashley Dye Reed and Eric Jackson Dye; eight grandchildren; his mother, Carol Anne Youngblood; and his sister, Kimberly Anne Dye. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles William Dye Sr., and his brother, Marlin Daniel Dye.

A service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, 7475 Peppermill Parkway, North Charleston, SC 29418.
