Christopher B. Manning, 51, of Johns Island, SC, passed away on August 17, 2026
Chris was born in Charleston, SC, to parents James Ezra Manning II and Bernnie Lou Davis on November 12, 1974.
He grew up on John’s Island, SC and attended St. Johns High School in Johns Island.
He was a kind and caring soul with deep love for all of his family and friends.
Chris is proceeded in death by his father, James Ezra Manning II & his mother Bernnie Lou Davis.
Chris is survived by his only son, Cj Manning; his brother, James Ezra Manning III; his half brothers, Jamie Manning & David Manning; his stepbrothers, Clary Davis & Rod Davis; his nieces, Amanda Manning & Jennifer Manning; his stepfather, Ruben Davis Sr.; his stepmother, Jan Manning Herchak; his girlfriend, Melody Brantley; and many other family members & an entire Island of friends that he cherished as family.
His memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 21, 2026 at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, 7475 Peppermill Parkway, North Charleston, SC 29418 .
