Donna Marie Repchak

Donna Marie Maddex Repchak, born June 12, 1951, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Donna was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She shared 50 years of marriage with her husband, LCDR Richard N. Repchak, USNR, and together they built a life centered around family, love, and friendship.

She was the loving mother of three sons: Michael Repchak (Tallahassee, FL); Jason Repchak and his wife, Aizhan, and their children, Mac and Mira (Fairfax, VA); and Jon Brendon Repchak and his wife, Maria (Columbia, SC).  Her family, and especially her grandchildren, held a very special place in her heart.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Capt. John W. Maddex, USN, and Ann Marie Skibinski Maddex, as well as her brother, John M. Maddex,Jr.  

She graduated from Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, Maryland, in 1969 and later graduated cum laude from Maryland Medical Secretarial School in Hagerstown, Maryland, in 1973.  She went on to work for Orthopedic Specialists of Charleston.

Those who knew Donna will remember her for her sweet and caring nature.  She loved crocheting, playing bridge, and other card games, often with music playing in the background.  She was an avid reader who especially enjoyed romance and suspense. 

She also loved watching game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune and had a special appreciation for beautiful, vivid colors that reflected the warmth and brightness she brought into the lives of those around her.

Above all, Donna's kindness, gentle spirit, and the love she gave so freely will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
