Douglas Ernest Custer

Douglas "Doug" Custer, 77, of Moncks Corner, passed away peacefully at his home on July 29, 2026. He was a proud United States Army veteran.

Mr. Custer was born March 31, 1949, in Dryden, New York, a son of Ernest V. Custer and Betty S. Custer. Doug is survived by his daughter, Heather Jumper of Moncks Corner; his sons, Mark Keehfus (Audrey) of Baldwinsville, New York, and Kyle Custer (Nicole) of Baldwinsville, New York; six grandsons; five granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; several brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Valentine Custer and Betty Sutton Custer; his brother, Larry Custer; his sister, Nancy Custer; and his great-granddaughter, McKinleigh Logan.

A celebration of Doug's life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
