A CELEBRATION OF LIFE

Freddie Kendrick - Raspberry

December 6, 1953 - August 26, 2026

Freddie Kendrick will be lovingly remembered as a caring father and grandfather, a beloved brother and uncle, a loyal friend, and a man who found great joy in the people and simple pleasures that filled his life. He was an avid sports fan and music lover who enjoyed laughter, meeting new people, sharing stories, and creating special moments with family and friends.

Freddie graduated from Coleman High School in Coleman, Texas, in 1971. A gifted and highly competitive athlete, he lettered in football, basketball, and track. His love of sports remained with him throughout his life, and he especially enjoyed conversations about games, players, teams, and the memories that sports created.

Throughout his life, Freddie worked hard in a variety of jobs and took pride in doing his part. Away from work, he treasured time spent with family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a special knack for giving people nicknames, often creating names that would stick and become part of the laughter and memories shared with him.

Freddie also had a tender heart for animals. Dogs, cats, or just about any animal could quickly become his friend. He enjoyed fishing and the peacefulness of simply sitting on the porch, watching the birds and squirrels while listening to his favorite music on the radio. Those quiet moments reflected a side of Freddie that appreciated life's everyday blessings.

Freddie renewed his faith later in life, and his relationship with God continued to play an important role in his life. He was an active member of his church, where he faithfully served as an usher. He valued fellowship, worship, and the opportunity to be of service to others.

Most of all, Freddie cared deeply for his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who treasured the bonds he shared with those closest to him. He had a special love for his grandchildren, nephews, and nieces and cherished the laughter, conversations, and special moments they shared. Freddie looked forward to continuing to grow and strengthen his relationships with his family and creating even more memories together.

His competitive spirit, wonderful sense of humor, love of sports and music, affection for animals, and unmistakable personality will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Freddie leaves behind a legacy not measured simply by the years he lived, but by the laughter he shared, the friendships he made, the family he loved, and the memories he created along the way. His presence will be deeply missed, but the stories, laughter, love, and special moments he gave to others will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
