James "Buzzy" Albert Baggett

March 10, 1950 — May 14, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of James “Buzzy” Albert Baggett, 76, of Charleston, SC who departed this life on May 14, 2026 at his home. Born on March 10, 1950 to the late Albert and Louise Baggett.

Buzzy built a successful business around steel fabrication. Beyond his strong work ethic, he will be remembered for his dedication to our country, passion for racing, and love for his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Brandy (Adam) Head, Jamie Baggett, Katie Baggett, Lacey (Brad) Harmer, and Olivia Baggett; his sisters, Vikki Devereux and Bette Tezza; 11 lovely grandchildren; and his significant other, Debbie Conrad.

Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his son Brock Baggett.

A grave side service will be held to honor his memory on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 11:00am at Live Oak Cemetery in Walterboro, SC. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the MSA Hospice at 5900 Core Rd #103, North Charleston, SC 29406.
