John Paul Bisset

John Bisset was born on October 31,1952 and died October 7,2026 in Summerville, SC. He was born in Bethesda, MD, and raised in Arlington, VA. He had interest in broadcasting when attending Willard Scott’s Bozo the Clown show when he was10. He later became a DJ in radio stations and then he studied to become a broadcasting engineer. After that he opened his own contracting business. Later, he enjoyed being in Sales for companies manufacturing studio and other broadcasting equipment. During his career, he had a wealth of information and enjoyed sharing through webinars, conferences, Radio World publication, business meetings and phone calls. He recently retired in May 2026 while living in Summerville, SC with his wife Diane. John has been a Jesus Follower for decades, and worshiped at Summerville Baptist Church, assisting with stewardship, technical and adult Sunday School teaching. He enjoyed sponsoring children with Compassion International and Children International, and packing Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Child Operation shoe boxes.
