Laura Marie Bentley
Mar 13, 1984 — Sep 24, 2025
In Loving Memory of Laura Marie Bentley March 13, 1984 – September 24, 2025
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Laura Marie Bentley, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and compassionate soul, who left us peacefully on September 24, 2025, at the age of 41.
Born on March 13, 1984, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Laura was the cherished daughter of Monica Dodes. From an early age, she displayed strength, resilience, and a strong will.
Laura's greatest legacy, however, lies in her kindness and the deep love she gave to those closest to her. She was an unshakable support to her family, offering a listening ear and an unwavering sense of loyalty. Her friends spoke of her with deep affection and admiration, recalling how her laughter filled rooms with joy, and her thoughtful gestures made every person feel special.
Laura’s passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but the love she gave will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, John Bentley; daughter -Ryleigh (Jacob) Lewis, son -Jackson Bentley, and daughter - Drea Bentley; mother – Monica Dodes; step-father – Melvin Powell; her brother Josh Dodes; step-brother – Perry Powell; niece Skyler Krueger; and nephew Owen Dodes; and a host of dear friends and family whose lives she touched in profound ways.
A celebration of Laura’s life will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Simplicity 7475 Peppermill Parkway Suite E, North Charleston.
Though Laura has left this world, her spirit endures in the beauty she created, the love she shared, and the memories she left behind.
Rest in peace, Laura. You will always be remembered, forever loved and missed.
