It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mary “Mimi” Bethel McIntosh McCraw on Monday, May 11, 2026. Mary is survived by her step-son, Charlie McCraw of Charleston, SC; her step-daughter, Norah McCraw of Summerton, SC; her sister, Erin Bellew of Hanahan, SC; her nephew, Parker Bellew of Hanahan, SC; her niece, Peyton Bellew of Hanahan, SC; her aunt P. Rodgers of Charleston, SC; her uncle, Alexander McIntosh of Summerville, SC and her cousin Glenn McIntosh of Summerville, SC, her in-laws Chuck and Michelle McCraw of Charleston, SC and her two best friends of over 36 years Krissy Godfrey of Summerville, SC and Laura Penfield of Summerville, SC. She also leaves behind honorary nephews and nieces and other loved ones, including many cherished friends. Mary, affectionately known as “Mimi”, “Aunt Mimi”, and “Da Bef” was deeply loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kind and generous heart, her “Good Morning” texts and calls, her heart for animals, her witty nature, and the endless laughter and jokes she brought wherever she went. She loved taking long rides through the country, Edisto beach, spending time with family and friends, and driving through the mountains to see the turning leaves in the Fall. She also had a love for Clemson football. Mary was a graduate of Summerville High School and was a customer service representative in the car and banking industry for many years. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Katina McIntosh, her grandparents William and Bethel McIntosh, Oscar Rodgers and Lorinda McMakin, her uncle William “Bill” Rodgers, her uncle William “Brad" McIntosh and her best friend, Robbie Penfield. A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Edisto Beach Civic Center located at: 42 Station Ct., Edisto Island, SC 29438 from 12 o’clock pm - 2 o’clock pm. Together, we will celebrate the love, joy, and lasting legacy that Mary leaves behind. To help us plan for food and seating kindly rsvp to Laura @843-270-9448 via text by June 22, 2026.
