In Loving Memory of Sherry Zellar Furtick

Sherry Zellar Furtick of Moncks Corner South Carolina, a loving and outgoing mother and friend, passed away at the age of 68 in a local hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. Born on December 13, 1956, Sherry dedicated her life to her family and loved ones as a devoted homemaker, pouring her caring spirit into those she cherished most.

Sherry will be deeply missed by her surviving family: her son, David Furtick, and his wife, Duffy Furtick, of Eutawville, SC; her daughter, Erin Furtick and Josh Hiles, of Goose Creek, SC; and her two beloved granddaughters, Kaytlyn Furtick (Eutawville, SC) and Kelsi Hiles (Goose Creek, SC). She is also survived by her three sisters and three brothers: Susan, Vicky, Cathy, Johnny, Bobby, and Carlton.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylma Ann; her father, Carlton; and her brother, Chuck.

Sherry’s life was defined by her generous and caring nature, which made her a friend to many. Her memory will be treasured by all who were touched by her kindness and outgoing spirit.
