North Charleston, SC — Shirley Ann Jones, 72, of North Charleston, passed away on September 12,

2025. Born on December 30, 1952, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kind heart and gentle spirit touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Dewey E. Jones, Jr.; her sons, Dewey E. Jones III and John Paul

Jones; six grandchildren, Katherine Smith, Ashley Jackson, Johnathan Jones, Jerry Jones, Gabriel

Jones, and Aurora Jones; and one great-grandson, William Jones. She was preceded in death by her

daughter, Hsirehc Ann Jones.

Shirley will be remembered as a sweet, soft-spoken, and funny woman who brought joy and comfort to

her family and friends.
