Walter Martin Hickman, Jr
Apr 26, 1971 — Oct 11, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marty Hickman, who departed this life on October 11, 2026, at 10:37pm.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that love never truly dies. The memories we share, the moments we treasure, and the bonds we build with those we love remain with us long after they are gone. Marty's life was a part of a story that will continue to be told through the hearts of his family and loved ones.
Marty will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Elizabeth Cecil, alongside her husband, Gregory Cecil, and Rebecca Hickman; his three precious grandchildren, Claire Cecil, Elija Cecil and Ellyana Hickman, who will forever hold a special place in his family's story; his longtime girlfriend, Crystal Long; his sisters, Cindy Smith, alongside her husband, Ronnie Smith, Tammy McKee, alongside her fiance, David Bulliner, and Mandy Hickman; and his brothers, Timmy Hickman, Jason Hickman, Mark Gallardo, and George Reeves. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Rita Davis, and his stepfather, Harold Davis, as well as his stepmother, Mary Hickman. He is also remembered by his father, Walter Martin Hickman;.
As his family navigates this heartbreaking loss, may they find comfort in the memories they shared, strength in one another, and peace in knowing that the love they have for Marty will never fade. Though he may no longer be physically present, his memory will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, family, and everyone whose life he touched.
A life may end, but love leaves a legacy that lasts forever. Marty will always be remembered, forever missed and eternally loved.
