Andrew "Andy" Cooper, 62, of Elgin, South Carolina, passed away on August 3, 2026.

Andy was known for his strong work ethic and the pride he took in his craft. He spent many years roofing and painting, taking satisfaction in a job well done. Outside of work, Andy was a devoted fan of the band Rush and found joy in listening to their music. He also treasured the companionship of his beloved dog, Star, and enjoyed the time they spent together.

Andy is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Clark; his daughter, Kaitlyn Cammer (Preston); his brothers, John Cooper, Joel Cooper (Carolina), and Mike Cooper; and his sister, Karen Shull (Scott). He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Cooper, and his brother, Chris Cooper.

Andy will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of music, his loyal heart, and the memories he created with those who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed.
