Audrey Helen "Jodi" Hughes

LEXINGTON, SC  –  Audrey Helen Hughes, affectionately known to friends and family as “Jodi,” passed away peacefully at her home in Lexington, South Carolina, on October 14, 2026, at the age of 78, surrounded by her loving husband, Bradley Hughes and her two dogs.

Jodi enjoyed a meaningful career as an X-Ray Tech. She served patients with compassion at Community General Hospital in Syracuse, New York, before moving to South Carolina, where she continued her career at Lexington Medical Center.

Her greatest joy was her family, and she had a deep love for her animals. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bradley; her three sons, John Mielnicki, Dennis Mielnicki, and Tim Mielnicki; grandson, Jacob; and her two cherished dogs, Mindi and Rosie, who brought her endless affection and companionship. She was preceded in death by her parents, Velva and Mike, and her brother, Mitch.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at her home in Lexington. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor her life and legacy.
