Bobby Tager, 83, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away July 27, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center. He was born on November 16, 1942, in Cayce, South Carolina to Wade and Agnes (Austin) Tager.
He had a deep passion for operating heavy equipment in his working years. He was devoted to fishing, found great comfort and joy in reading his bible, and poured his heart into pastoring.
Bobby is survived by his sons William W. Tager and Marty Tager, their children, and his great-grandchildren, and brother and sisters.
He was preceded in death by: His wives Fritzalynn Tager and Maggie Tager, and his parents, Wade Tager and Mary Agnes Tager, and his brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends at 9:30 AM on July 31, 2026 at 525 State Pond Road, Gaston, SC 29053. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM on July 31, 2026 at 525 State Pond Road, Gaston, SC 29053 with Pastor Jimmy Jones officiating.
