Henry Anthony Neal

Henry Anthony Neal, "Tony", 74, passed away at his home, surrounded by family, in Lexington, SC, Monday, October 13, 2025.

Tony was born on March 3, 1951, in Columbia SC.  He was predeceased by his parents Herman A. Neal and Norma B. Finger and his sister Patti Neal Butts.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ann Koon Neal and his sons Charles Kirkland Neal, "Kirk" and Gregory Alexander Neal, "Greg", and his brother-in-law Jeff Butts.

Tony attended Richland One Schools, graduating from the University of South Carolina with a BA in History.

Tony worked in printing sales for Curtis 1000 for 25 years before establishing his own business, Ad Pro.  He was a lifelong learner and lover of history.  He was a fisherman and hunter who loved nature and being outdoors.  His greatest enjoyment was family camping, hiking, biking and skiing.

Tony's happiest and proudest times were serving as his son's youth baseball coach.  He had pride and love for his family.  He was an avid Gamecock and Braves fan.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1:00 pm until, at Hallmark Shores Raquet and Residents Club, 75 W Circle Drive Lexington, SC  29072.

Because Tony was a 23-year survivor of Prostate Cancer, memorials to the American Cancer Society are suggested as well as the National Park System.
