Jerry Wingard

Jerry Wingard, 59, of Swansea, South Carolina passed away on June 6, 2026. He was the husband of the late Sharon K. Wingard.

A Memorial to honor him will be on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the home of his daughter, 2045 Burke Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118.  Food will be served, and everyone is welcomed to stop by to pay their respects.

Jerry was born in Lexington County, a son to the late Louis and Betty Wingard. Survivors include his daughter, Taylor (Preston) Dyches; two grandchildren, Baylon and Emberlyn Dyches; three brothers, Darry (Cindy) Wingard, Steve (Lisa) Wingard, and Tommy (Kat) Wingard; one sister, Diane (Leon) Wise; twelve nieces and nephews; and a great number of great nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his two sisters Helen Wingard Crim and Peggy Crim.

Jerry loved being outside and playing a round of pool. He loved his daughter more than anything and his hot-headedness will NEVER be forgotten. He will be truly missed.
