Leon Mansi Jr.

Leon Mansi Jr., a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025 in Aiken, South Carolina at the age of 72.

Leon was born in Honolulu Hawaii. He grew up in San Diego, CA where he attended school. He graduated from Sweetwater High School and went on to Southwestern Jr. College.

He dedicated many years to his career as a machinist at Solar Turbines.   He built machines and friendships while there.

Leon loved to enjoy life.  He loved his family, football, and especially Rock and Roll. He was particularly passionate about spending time with his three grandsons, and could often be found watching cartoons with them, laughing, and attentively listening to their imaginative stories. His laughter, humor and simple appreciation for things will be missed.

Leon Mansi Jr.  is survived by his mother, Janet Mansi, his son, Brandon Mansi (Kahalani Vidal), grandchildren: Kainoa Mansi-Vidal, Odin Mansi-Vidal, Ezra Mansi-Vidal, and siblings, Tina Preite, Cynthia Gardner, John Barcas (Edette Barcas), Lonnie Mansi (Denise Mansi) and Dianna Mansi Nunez (Allen Nunez).   He was preceded in death by his dad, Leon Mansi.
