Marvena Hunt Oxley

Marvena Hunt Oxley, age 78, of Lexington, SC, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, June 5, 2026. She was born in Kingsport, TN, the daughter of the late Otis M. and Bernie Hunt.

After retiring from Michelin, she and her late husband, Gary, loved spending time with their grandchildren: Jessica, Melissa, and Garrett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary, and her sister, Charlene. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn H. Dulin of Lynnville, TN; her daughters, Kelly (Brent) Brock, Shannon (Ben) Amick, and Marsha "Pud" Gunter of Lexington, SC; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and multiple nieces and nephews.
