In Loving Memory

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, our world saw the passing of Melissa J. Williams, 59. Melissa was a devoted mother, doting grandmother, and a compassionate friend to all who knew her. Her generous heart and positive outlook were a gift to everyone whose lives she touched.

Born to the Jones family in Camden, SC, on September 28, 1966, Melissa was always ready to lift someone's spirits with a kind and positive word. She dedicated her working life to Dick Dyer and Associates, where she was a treasured employee for almost 30 years.

Her proudest achievement was her family. As an outstanding mother to Heather Williams (Roberto), Ashley Boone (Channon), and Kyle Williams, and a loving partner to Renee Leonard. Her support and pride were unwavering. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to Autumn and Aislynn Boone. Her siblings, Alton, Katrina, Duston, and Tanton, will cherish her memory forever.

A celebration of life will take place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2224 August Hwy., Lexington, SC 29072 on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 4:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, colorectalcancer.org  in Melissa's memory.
