Perry Suzanne Wade
Mar 29, 1981 — Jul 28, 2026
John 11:25-26: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Perry Suzanne Wade (Suzi), 45, of Irmo, South Carolina, entered in her eternal life with our Lord on July 28, 2026. She was born on Sunday, March 29, 1981 to Charles Briggs Wade Sr. and Lisa Traugott Wade in Tifton, Georgia. She moved to Irmo, South Carolina when she was one year of age. She attended the Lexington Five School District 5 schools, graduating from Dutch Fork High School in 1999. She attended Midlands Tech College briefly, before leaving to have a career in the food industry.
Suzi enjoyed watching her Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, watching movies and television, and spending her time with her dog, Mr. Prince. She also enjoyed cooking and listening to music, too.
Suzi is survived, in addition to her parents, by her brothers, Charles B. Wade Jr. (Allison), and Michael Wade. She also leaves behind her nephew, Charles B Wade III - Briggs, and niece, Amsley N. Wade. She is also survived by her grandmother, Arlene W. Traugott, uncles, Allen (Pam) Traugott, David (Tonja) Traugott, and aunt, Lori Sutton. In addition, she leaves her cousins; Mollie Traugott, Caroline (Dave) Williamson, Wesley (Stephanie) Traugott, Cassie Traugott, Hannah (Braden) Phillips, Josie (Vee) Sim, Casey Sutton, great-aunt, Charlotte Martin. She also leaves behind two incredibly special people in her heart, Joshua Bailey and Hailey Walters.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, Bobby Allen Traugott, her grandfather, Elba White Wade, her grandmother, Perry Sue Wade, her aunt, Mary Suzanne Wade, and Suzi’s precious dog, Goldie Beth.
Our hearts are broken, as no parent should lose their child. However, our hearts are at peace knowing Suzi is in Heaven, the most glorious place, without pain and suffering, home with our Lord that she loved so much. Sweet Suzi, we love you so much and will miss your smile, good heart, and the love of our precious daughter!
God's Garden
God looked around his garden and found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face,
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest,
With the help of his angels they flew you to your heavenly place.
Gods garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best,
He knew you were suffering, he knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never get well on Earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills too hard to climb,
He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, "Peace be Thine",
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
