Ralph Seymour Lee

Ralph Seymour Lee, age 87, of West Columbia, South Carolina, departed this life on October 19, 2026, at Prisma Medical Center. He was born on August 23, 1939, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Charles and Ruby Lee.

Ralph was renowned for his exceptional culinary talents, often delighting family and friends with his special dishes. Additionally, he will be fondly remembered for his remarkable ability to manage resources wisely and for his witty personality. He will be forever loved and missed.

Ralph is survived by his lifetime partner, Matt McAfee; his brothers, Roy Michael Lee and Charles Edward Lee, and Roy's wife, Rebecca Sue Lee (Becky); his children, Ralph Stonewall Lee, Eric Hanson Lee, Ryan Reed Lee, and Tania Lee Rivera; his nieces, Priscilla Renwick (Penny), Michelle Lee Baker, Kelly Wackerly, Cari Rhoads, and Kimberly Collette (Kim); his nephews, Kelly Lee and Charles Thomas Lee (Buster); his grandchildren, Matthew Alexander Lee, Ramon Rivera, Felicia Rivera, and Gabrielle Rivera Anderson (Gabby); his great-grandchildren, Penelope Anderson (Penny), Maxima Rivera, and Atreus Rivera; along with a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
