Virginia "Ginny" Stout

It is with a great deal of sadness that we announce the passing of  Virginia “Ginny” Stout on September 13, 2026.

Ginny was an avid traveler, a teacher, mentor and friend to so many people. If you became her friend, you were a friend for life. Thank you to all of you who helped fill her life with joy and love.

Ginny is survived by John Nelson, her long-time domestic partner and love. Ginny was predeceased by Donald Stout, her husband in 1986, Charles and Betty Cheuvront, her parents.

No services or internment will be held as per Ginny’s request. If you would like to make a donation in her memory, please do so at Ventura College Foundation or the Order of the Eastern Star (OES) Scholarship Program.
