William Kevin Clegg

William Kevin Clegg, of Aiken, South Carolina, born July 24, 1970, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, after a long illness, surrounded by the love of his family.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, William Eugene Clegg of Scotland, Georgia, and his adored niece, Campbell Grace Pitzer of Blacksburg, Virginia, both of whom he loved deeply and carried in his heart always.

He is survived by his loving mother, Elaine Willis Lovern of Aiken, South Carolina; his beloved son, Colin William Clegg of Richmond, Virginia; and his sister, Jennifer Clegg Pitzer of Blacksburg, Virginia. He also leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Kevin will be remembered for his strength through difficult times, his love for his family, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. Though his family grieves his loss deeply, they find comfort in knowing he is now at peace.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the compassionate nurses, aides, and social workers of Enhabit Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, and dignity they provided during Kevin’s final journey. Their support brought comfort not only to Kevin, but to his entire family during an incredibly difficult time.

The family also appreciates the prayers, love, and support shown by friends and loved ones during this time. Memorial service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
