Joseph A Dorn
Sep 23, 1932 — Oct 3, 2026
Joseph A. Dorn, of Buffalo, New York, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 94.
Born on September 23, 1932, in Buffalo, New York, Joseph lived a long and meaningful life marked by faith, service, and a joyful spirit. He graduated from Indiana Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree and went on to work as an engineer, bringing dedication and skill to his profession.
Joseph also proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Missouri. His service was an important part of his life and reflected the steady sense of duty that carried through the years that followed.
He was a man who loved to laugh and to make others laugh, and that warmth stayed with all who knew him. He enjoyed performing magic shows, working with his hands in carpentry, and sharing his faith by leading people to Jesus. These gifts and passions revealed a generous heart and a life lived with both purpose and delight.
Above all, Joseph will be remembered for the love he shared with his family. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Dorn; his daughters, Wendy Conrad and her husband, Garth, and Sandra Miccoli and her husband, Vincent; and his grandchildren, Zachery and his wife, Ana, Reagan and Luciano, Ella, and Cayde. The love of his family, and the memories they carry forward, stand as a lasting tribute to a life well lived.
Joseph A. Dorn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
