Betty Viola Smith

Betty Viola Smith (Casper) was called home by our Heavenly Father on October 9, 2026. Betty was born in Olympia, Washington on January 21, 1931 to Lawrence Mirl and Margaret Casper. She was the third of their four children, but the first to graduate from high school. She married Richard Clements at 18 and they had four beautiful children together. After 18 years, Betty moved to Portland, Oregon. She met Russell Smith and after a brief courtship they were married. Together, they served the Lord for 54 years.

Betty will be missed every day and is loved and survived by many family and friends. We would like to thank White Oak Hospice for assisting with Betty's journey home.
