Loving Memory of Corey Jerome Johnson (1957–2026)

Corey Jerome Johnson, age 68, of Garden City, Idaho, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026. Born on September 20, 1957, Corey lived a life defined by generosity, warmth, and compassion. He was the kind of soul who opened his home and kitchen to anyone in need, offering comfort through kindness and a good meal.

He is survived by his loving siblings Lori Ball, Lisa Johnson, John Johnson, and Robert Johnson; his cherished nieces and nephews Jeremy, Josh, Jessica, Sara, Evaan, Cori Rashell, Sean, Ryan, Kahlan, Seya, Shelby, Steven, Zamian, Juliet, Eian, Ramsey, Joseph, Tyson, Jason, and Matthew; and lifelong friends Peggy, Cindy, Dan, Zeke, Cheryl, Mary, and many others who held a special place in his heart.

He is preceded in death by his Father Richard Melvin Johnson and Mother Joan Rose Johnson-Kline; Siblings Rosalie (“Pozy”), Steven, Kevin, and Richard; and his nieces Breanna, Amanda, and Desiree.

Corey’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched—as a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. His gentle spirit and unwavering generosity will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Corey found joy in the simple pleasures of life—creating and tending to beautiful flower beds, cheering for his beloved Ravens, cooking, and spending time with the nieces and nephews he helped nurture into adulthood. His presence brought laughter, comfort, and love to every gathering.

Rest in peace, dear brother, uncle, and friend. Your generous nature and loving heart will live on in the many lives you’ve touched. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Memorial service details will be provided at a later time. In keeping with Corey’s wishes, the family requests no flowers, donations, or additional tributes.
