Obituary for Keri Lynn Rueckert

Keri Lynn Rueckert, beloved daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend, went home to be with her Lord on June 5, 2026, after a courageous and grace-filled battle with brain cancer. Though the disease ultimately took her earthly body, it never dimmed her vibrant spirit, deep faith, or the love she so freely gave.

Keri was born on November 13th, 1971, in Boise, Idaho, to Les and Susan Cullen. She had a heart that shined from an early age—full of kindness, laughter, and a warmth that made everyone feel welcome. As the oldest, Keri was a very protective of her younger siblings and was always there for us. She was known for her love of the color pink, a reflection of her bright, gentle, and joyful soul.

Above all, Keri loved the Lord. Her faith carried her through every season of life, especially in her hardest days. She lived with trust, hope, and a quiet strength that served as an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

Keri’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by mother, Susan Cullen, father and step-mother, Les Cullen and Joyce Popp, brother and sister in law, Jeff and Kelli Cullen, stepsister and brother in law, Tracy and Bill Crabb, nephews and nieces, Jonathan Cullen, Micah Crabb Kaycee Chamberlain, Haylee Pease, and Ariel McGinnis, four-legged fur balls; Goldie and Ruby (meow), along with many extended family members, very special cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish her love, encouragement, and beautiful heart.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jana Sanchez; her beloved nephew, Ryker, her niece, Riley, her sister-in-law and nephew, Shauntell Cullen and Samuel Cullen, stepsister, Gayann McGinnis, two precious babies; and her grandparents—each of whom she held close in her heart.

Keri found happiness in life’s simplest and most meaningful moments—time spent with loved ones, shared laughter, and quiet reminders of God’s goodness.

Though her time here feels far too short, Keri leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and grace. She reminded us all to hold tightly to our loved ones, to walk in kindness, and to lean on the Lord in all things.

In place of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Expedition Inspiration in her honor.

Keri will be remembered always—with enduring love, steadfast faith, and a beautiful touch of pink.
