Rudolph Wilson
Jul 9, 1931 — Aug 26, 2026
Rudoph Wilson passed away on August 26, 2026, at age 95. He was born in Louisiana on July 9, 1931, and he grew up in Denver, Colorado. After graduation from high school, Rudolph joined the United States Air Force in 1949. He served in the Air Force all over the world for over 26 years, retiring in 1975 with the rank of Master Sergeant.
In 1962, Rudolph married Magdalena (Magda) Moreno del Bosque in Madrid, Spain, and they were married for 64 years before his passing.
After military service, Rudolph became the Human Resources Director for Ada County. He joined the Knights of Columbus in 1980, and soon thereafter he left employment with Ada County, and went to work for the Knights of Columbus as a Field Agent. He successfully served the Knights of Columbus as a life insurance agent for many years, travelling all over Idaho. After retirement, Rudolph then served in various Council and State Offices for the K of C, rising to be Idaho State Deputy for two years. As its leader, Rudolph was the first State Deputy from Idaho to achieve the Circle of Honor Award from the national K of C. He was later appointed the Archbishop Francis Norbert Blanchet Vice Supreme Master of the 4th Degree of the Knights for four years. Rudolph was the first Vice Supreme Master from Idaho for the Northwest Region of the Knights.
Rudolph’s spirit of charity and volunteerism saw him asked to serve on various boards, including the Boise Music Week Board and the Ada County Community Board.
Rudolph was known for his infectious laugh, and positive spirit. Please pray for Rudolph Wilson, and for his only survivor, his beloved spouse, Magda. Condolences may be sent to Magda Wilson through the Knights of Columbus or care of The Terraces at Boise.
(For those who desire to attend, the Rite of Christian Burial for Rudolph will be at 2 PM, September 8th, at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Road, Garden City, ID 83714.)
