Deanna Gail Harbold Desmangles
Jul 1, 1951 — Oct 23, 2026
Deanna Gail Harbold Desmangles, 75, of Kings Point, Sun City Center, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2026. She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and a legacy of faith, love, joy, laughter, and beautiful memories that will be cherished for generations.
Family was at the heart of Deanna’s life. She married G. Raymond “Ray” Harbold in 1971 in Hutchinson, Kansas, who preceded her in death in 2003. In 2007, Deanna married Guy Camille Desmangles, who brought additional love and family into her life. She was blessed to have Guy’s unwavering love, companionship, and devoted care throughout her final years.
Deanna is survived by her husband, Guy Camille Desmangles; her children, Kristen (Felix-Albert) Desmangles of Gilbert, Arizona, and Graham (Beth) Harbold of Bradenton, Florida; her cherished grandsons, Garrett and Ethan Harbold, and Zack and Jayden Desmangles; her brother, Jerry (Deborah) Graham; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Through her marriage to Guy, her family grew to include stepchildren Fabien Desmangles (Rita Valerio) and Soraya Desmangles; grandchildren Logan and Gabriel Desmangles, Illyana Couture (Joe Blanchard), Ayla Couture (Kevin Moussa), and Jared Couture; and great-grandchildren Kyara Couture-Blanchard, Kaelyn Blanchard, and Tomas Blanchard.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Harbold; her parents, Don and Dorothy Graham; her brothers, Danny, Larry, and Scott; and her stepson, Guy-Robert Desmangles.
Perhaps the most beautiful way to remember Deanna is through the eyes of her grandsons, who describe her as an angel—full of love, joy, laughter, and everything good in this world. Those words capture the essence of who she was and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew and loved her.
An informal gathering of family and friends will be held in Mesa, Arizona, on Sunday, December 13, 2026, featuring a performance of The Sound of Music—one of Deanna’s favorite musicals, in which her grandsons Zack and Jayden are performing. Please call or email Kristen Desmangles at 480.813.4458 or [email protected] for more information.
The primary celebration of Deanna’s life will take place on a beach near Bradenton, Florida, on January 16, 2027. Please call or email Beth Harbold at 480.710.7629 or [email protected] to be added to the invitation list.
In honor of Guy's love for flowers, the family requests floral arrangements be sent to Guy Desmangles at 749 McDaniel Street, Sun City Center, Florida 33573, as a token of love and support during this difficult time.
Though her family feels her absence profoundly, Deanna’s faith, laughter, stories, and boundless love will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched. The memories she created and the prayers she offered will remain a source of comfort and strength for those she leaves behind.
