Ismael Samano

Jun 22, 1992 — Sep 14, 2026

Ismael Samano, also lovingly known as “Izzy” or “DJ,” age 34, of Wimauma, Florida, passed away on September 14, 2026, at Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Ismael was born on June 22, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, where he was born and raised before later making Wimauma, Florida, his home. He graduated from Manatee Technical College, where he received his HVAC certification, and went on to work as an HVAC technician.

Ismael was preceded in death by his father, Angel Samano. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Samano; his daughters, Alejandra Samano, Rosalyn Samano, and Lilyani Samano; his son, Santiago Ismael Samano; his mother, Veronica Garcia, sister; Jazmin Samano; brother, Angel jr. Samano.

Ismael was a kind, generous, and loving person. If there was ever someone you could count on, it was him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and rarely ever said no when someone needed him. Without a doubt, Ismael was the life of any party. He loved making people laugh and always seemed to have the perfect joke to turn a frown into a smile.

Ismael also had many things that brought him joy. He loved playing Pokémon GO and was a passionate sports fan, always rooting for his Los Angeles Dodgers, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, and Los Angeles Kings. He was also a longtime fan of WWE and WrestleMania. Whether he was watching his favorite teams, enjoying wrestling, or playing Pokémon GO, these were some of the simple things that brought him happiness and that his family and friends will always remember about him.

To his wife, Maria, Ismael was truly the light of her life. The love he gave to his wife and children will never be forgotten. He loved his family with such passion and never let them forget just how much they meant to him. With something as simple as a kiss, he had a way of making their pain disappear in the blink of an eye. He spoiled his family with love, tenderness, and joy and could rarely ever say no to any of them. Ismael truly was the light of his family, and the love he gave them will remain in their hearts forever. He will be deeply missed as they navigate this tremendous loss.

His beautiful smile, laughter, and charming spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
