Keri Jo Pyse

Keri Jo Pyse of Wimauma, formerly of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026 surrounded by family. 

Keri Jo was born in Chicago, Illinois to Kennard L. and Barbara J. Pyse on February 20, 1962. Keri graduated from Lenape Regional High School where she was involved in many groups including student government and was a homecoming queen one year. Keri always had a good business sense and work ethic starting her job journey working at the local Burger King Restaurant in high school and moving her way up to the Burger King Regional Office. She then worked as a Corporate Meeting Planner with a large pharmaceutical company and then branched out on her own and started her own Corporate Meeting Planning Company along with being a partner in other businesses including a Solar Farm Group. 

She was very organized and was a member and very active in several VL clubs including the Military Club, The Gun Club and The Women's Club.Keri loved to entertain and host parties and dinners for her family and friends especially for the holidays. She was a great cook, baker and loved being in her kitchen making things from scratch. She had a generous giving heart, loving spirit and was always generous with her time. She was always ready to help anyone needing it and she never made you feel like a stranger when you met her.Keri enjoyed many things in life while also taking care of her parents She loved the USA, was a proud American, loved the Tampa Bay Rays, Tennis and valued her time with her family and friends. She liked to collect family heirlooms, artwork, fun treasures she would find and search the beaches for her beloved seashells. She took some amazing vacations but also enjoyed shopping with her Mother and Sister especially at Home Goods when home. Her thumb was green and her plants were beautiful, she loved Orchids and Christmas cactuses and they always bloomed.

Keri is preceded in death by her Father Kennard L. Pyse who passed away in 2020. She is survived by her Mother Barbara J. Pyse, her sister Lori Pyse Engler, Keri’s partner David C. Lake along with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family and her longtime close friends and their families whose children will always be her nieces and nephews along with her only dog niece Valentina Grace who loved her very much.

A Celebration of Life for Keri and her Father Kennard will be held at the Sun City Center Funeral Home on Friday August 7, 2026 with visitation at 3pm, a time to share memories beginning at 4pm with a reception to follow.
