Lisa Ann Reigle-Cohen

Jan 12, 1962 — Sep 28, 2026

Lisa Ann Reigle-Cohen, 64, of Sun City Center, Florida passed away on September 28, 2026 at South Shore Hospital in Sun City Center after a short illness.

Lisa was born in Anchorage, Alaska on January 12, 1962 and raised in Medina, New York. She was a graduate of State University of New York at Brockport and Empire State College.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret (Scharlau) Reigle. She is survived by her husband Harvey Cohen; her siblings Linda Brower and David Reigle; and her father Gordon “Spook” Reigle.

Lisa was a beloved public school math teacher, most recently until her retirement for the Gananda Central School District in Walworth, New York. Her passion was music and performing on the clarinet. A recent highlight was performing with the Eastern Hillsborough Community Band (Florida) in Normandy, France in 2026 to commemorate the anniversary of D-Day. Lisa loved to cook and entertain, and she was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills. Her smile and kindness were her hallmarks, and she brightened up any room she was in.

In lieu of memorial services, celebrations of her life will occur at different times and places where friends and family can gather. Donations in Lisa’s honor can be made to Recycled Tunes by the Gasparilla Music Foundation, (813) 708-8423.
