Dr. Thaddeus Charles Lenick

Dec 12, 1929 — Oct 9, 2025

Dr. Thaddeus Lenick, 95, of Hilton Head Island died October 9, 2025.

Ted, as he was known, was born on December 12, 1929, in Irvington, New Jersey, the only child of Charles Lenick and Mary Stolarska.

Ted graduated from Fairleigh Dickerson University, then the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and finally New York University becoming a Periodontist.  Ted served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force in the mid-1950’s bravely caring for the teeth of our peace time service men and women.

On September 8th, 1956, the most pivotal day of his life, he married Alice Christine Majewski.  Together Ted and Chris went on to have three children, Dianna, Christine and Thaddeus Jr. (AKA The Polish Prince) their pride and joy.

Over the course of their 69-year marriage, Ted and Chris together built a thriving dental practice in Wayne, New Jersey, raised their three children and moved enumerable times. Ted was known as a reliable, steady hand who did everything in moderation.  He was a dedicated husband and father, unfailingly reliable, to the point of annoyance, in everything he did.

Ted is survived by his wife, three children, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
