Howard and the widow of Donald Louis Grove to whom she was married for 48 years, died

May 14th, 2026 on her beloved Hilton Head Island.

aerobics at Spring Lake in Hilton Head Plantation and the Island Rec Center.

passing in 2012. They began vacationing in Hilton Head Island in 1977 following her year of

chemotherapy for breast cancer. She was a 50-year survivor. They followed their dream

and moved to the Island permanently in 1990.

Surviving are her son Paul Andew Grove of Plover, Wisconsin, sister Emmalee Dieter

(David) of Connellsville, Pa, several nieces and nephews including Kirk & Kay Carver, of The

Villages, Florida, three great nephews and one great niece.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was predeceased by an infant sister, Muriel
