Marilyn Gail Chilchilla
Oct 7, 1961 — Jul 11, 2026
In Loving Memory of Marilyn Gail Chichilla
Marilyn Gail Chichilla, née Moroney, passed away peacefully at her home on July 11, 2026, at age 64. She was born on October 7, 1961, in Frostproof, Florida, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, music, and unforgettable memories.
The youngest of eight children, Marilyn had a vibrant spirit that naturally drew people to her. She loved good times, live music, dancing, and spending time on the water. Whether she was enjoying the ocean, relaxing on a boat, cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, or simply surrounded by family and friends, Marilyn embraced every moment with tenacity and lived life exactly how she wanted. Above all else, she found her greatest happiness in taking care of the people she loved. Her generous heart, infectious laugh, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Marilyn is survived by her brothers, Pat Moroney, TJ Moroney, and Bill Moroney; her beloved daughters, Nirasha “Nikki” Rodriguez and Ariel Winnifred Chichilla; and her cherished grandchildren, Kennedy Cruz Rodriguez, Violet Clover Thistle, and Edward Nigma Thistle. She also leaves behind her loving niece, Allison Marie Miles, and her nephews, Jason Martin, Michael Martin, David Moroney, and Jimmy Moroney, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in remembering the love, laughter, and light Marilyn brought into our lives. Her legacy lives on through the family she adored and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and vibrant spirit.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor Marilyn and share the memories that made her so unforgettable.
