Barbara Anne Santanello Castillo

Beloved wife and mother. She grew up in Newark, New Jersey before moving to California. She was a very caring and generous person ready to help those in need. She also had a great love for all animals. Barbara was a journalist for the San Gabriel Valley newspaper for 14 years and then a manager at the Best Whittier Inn for 28 years. She attended Seventh Day Adventist Church in Whittier, Ca. Barbara passed away comfortably at home in the arms of her husband. She is survived by her loving husband Alfred Castillo and her son Mike, step son Alfred and two daughters Adrianna and Kristina. Barbara will be deeply missed by all.
