Edgardo Taningco Maniego

Edgardo T. Maniego (“Boy”), born on July 7, 1939, passed away on March 10, 2026.

Through God’s care and the support of his family, he managed to be both father and mother to his children.

Those who knew Boy remember a life lived fully—rich with stories, adventures, and good moments that shone through even during life’s most chaotic times.

The laughter and memories he left behind continue to bring joy to those who loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen; his children—Linda and Jordan, Ricky and Joan, Cristina and Michael, and James; and his stepson, Jimmy, who predeceased him. Together with Ryuko, mother of his children; his siblings; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and the rest of the Maniego clan, we celebrate his life with love and a gentle remembrance of all the memories we shared with him.
