Harriet Devers

Harriet Elizabeth Allen Devers, 93, of Los Alamitos, CA passed away on April 8th, 2026. She was born in Porterville, CA to the late William S. Allen and Ethel G. Allen. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Devers (Erik Kemper), son Mark Devers (Maria Lyn), grandchild Justin Vechayiem (Dia), and great-grandchild Bodhi. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband Gene E. Devers and her brother Robert Allen.

Harriet attended Stephens College in MO, and graduated from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. She was a proud member of the Chi Omega sorority during her years at USC. She enjoyed playing bridge and was active in various clubs over the years. She loved watching golf and baseball and followed her favorite players and teams closely. She also loved to travel, especially overseas. Visiting Australia and China were highlights in her life.

Harriet will be missed by her loved ones and friends. A private family service will take place on June 12th in Porterville, CA.
