Lorraine R. Robertson

October 5, 1962 — March 8, 2026

Lorraine R. Robertson, 63, of Lakewood California, passed away peacefully on March

8th, 2026, at her home after a short and brave battle with cancer surrounded by the love

of her family and friends.

Lorraine was born on October 5, 1962, in Long Beach, California, the daughter of the

late Marie and Edmond Tacconelli.  She spent her early years attending Long Beach

City College where she earned her Associate of Arts, and met her best friend and future

husband, Daniel Robertson.  She then attended California State University Long

Beach and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  After

graduation, Lorraine had a long career with the California Franchise Tax Board as a tax

auditor and obtained her registration as a Certified Public Accountant before retiring in

2020.

Lorraine married Daniel on Saturday, June 1st, 1997, during a full moon. Shortly after,

they moved to Lakewood, California, where they started their family and were blessed

with beautiful twin children, Thomas and Julia.

Lorraine, a devoted wife, mother, sibling and friend, found her greatest joy in spending

time with the people she loved.  She also loved being creative and expressed this

through drawing, creating stained glass pieces, decorating custom cakes, and sewing

garments, both practical to whimsical. She enjoyed deep sea fishing, gardening, Beatles

music, and exploring all the world has to offer. She truly enjoyed walking around Knott’s

Berry Farm observing people and absorbing the atmosphere. She was full of life and

possessed an energy that could be felt when she entered a room, leaving a lasting

impact on all who knew her.

In addition to her husband Daniel, Lorraine is survived by her twin children, Thomas and

Julia Robertson; her brother, Edmond and his wife Vivian; her sister, Linda and her

husband Dale.

A Celebration of Life will be held later, TBD. A scattering at sea will follow.
