Margaret Ellen Claybaugh

Margaret Ellen Claybaugh age 59, of San Marcos CA, passed on Mother’s day May 10, 2026 after a brief illness. Margaret was the loving mother of three children, Sarah, Mark and Rachael and six grandchildren. She was married to Paul Claybaugh and they shared 36 years together.

Margaret was born Aug 6th 1966 in Riverside CA. to William and Ellen Shay. She grew up in Oceanside California and graduated from Palomar College in 1993 with an A.A. degree in Accounting. She worked in the construction industry for over 20 years.

Margaret was loved by many and known for her generosity, grace and kindness toward others. Margaret enjoyed beautiful natural locations, camping and spending time at the beach with family. She poured her heart into loving God and serving others.
