A Loving Son, Father, Husband, Grandpa, Uncle, Nephew, Grandson, and Friend Edwin Marcus Willis Jr. (November 14, 1984-August 2, 2026)

Edwin Marcus Willis Jr.(41) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, peaceful homegoing occurred on August 2, 2026 in Wyoming. Sunrise on November 14, 1984 the first born to Hannah Willis and Edwin Marcus Smith Sr. Nicknamed "Little Ed" with three siblings, William, Katrina, and Jalen. As a child "Little Ed" attended Richard T Castro Elementary. His adolescent years was attended at West Middle School, of Aurora Colorado. He attended Aurora Central High School of Aurora, Colorado. As a child Edwin was taught by his stepfather Odell Reed, how to repair vehicles, maintenance to lawn services, and general household repairs. These resourceful skills contributed to shaping a character of being a diligent resolutionist in manhood. "Little Ed" was a great leader and solved problems easily. He pursued a career in the food service industry and began his leadership career as a Restaurant Manager at Captain D's Sea Food quick service restaurants. Edwin being very quick at grasping facts and skills in the food service industry was a very good listener recognized patterns and used core knowledge to resolve problems. He shifted his career goals by transitioning to becoming a Regional Manager with Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchise. Edwin learned how to travel for training and contributed skills in management and financial budgeting, inventory, and sales was able to gain knowledge of finance. Soon after enriching his organizational and financial skills through online courses. Edwin's financial acumen allowed him to be promoted to the Financial industry in banking. He first worked as a Bank Teller and soon graduated to becoming a Branch Manager for Wells Fargo Bank, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Edwin Marcus Willis Jr. was given the role of Father to Marques and Giovanni, in youthful parenthood, partnered with LuSung "LuLu" Robinson became father, to two daughter's Aaliyah, and Sequia. As "Little Ed" reached his adulthood, remembering his foundational teaching:

"A man that finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord." Proverbs 18:22.

Edwin Marcus Willis Jr. shifted in maturity and continued his love for family and found his perfect soulmate. In 2014 Edwin Marcus Willis Jr. became a Husband. He solidified his title and comittment with his marriage to Amber Wright (Willis. As a protective father became "Dad" to Julianna, (Baby) Edwin, and Isaiah. Edwin's love for his children and authority in his leadership, kept all of his children collectively together in one household. Edwin Marcus Willis Jr. was the best Husband, Protective Father, and through his strong love, cared for all of his six children, in a loving, caring, nurturing home. All the children growing together as siblings along with Amber, as his loving wife, raised his children to adulthood, recently they became the proud grandparents of Keyara their first grandchild. In his excitement of being a new "Grandpa" he desired to rush home to see his brand new grandbaby girl born shortly before his passing.

Edwin "Little Ed" Willis Jr. valued devotion as a husband and father and had a passionate love for family. Edwin (Little Ed) lived by the motto "Family Over Everything" and was devoted to working diligently to provide for his wife and children.

"Little Ed" enjoyed NFL football as a fan of the Baltimore Ravens team. He was sure to wear his favorite jacket to represent "his team". As an avid brother, he shared singing Karaoke and dancing with family and friends. He loved music and enjoyed singing the song "If I ever fall in love" shared with Amber his wife.

Edwin Marcus Willis Jr. Living in the state of Colorado enjoyed activities such as basketball, boxing, camping, hiking, and gun range practice. Being a loving father and uncle he included his sons and nephews in his ventures, along with his friends.

Ed spent many hours and time with family sitting in the backyard, smiling joyfully at birthday parties, and laughing on the front porch. He would reminisce the good times of his youthful years with his brother William and regarded time with his Cousin Decal. He especially shared special moments with his best friend Adrian. He loved sharing time with his In-Laws Victoria Sanders (the world's greatest mother-in-law), her husband Todd, and her children Melody, Jason, and Justin. Edwin was a loving giving son and would be the provisionary for his family. Anytime his mother Hannah Willis was in need of anything he would make it his mission to get to her side to help in any way he could. Being the eldest sibling he was confided in by his brother's William and Jalen, and sister Katrina. He never failed at giving them words of wisdom and instructional rearing for personal growth. Hero to his family, when needed he was always willing to come to the rescue. His superhero strength to be a Son, Father, Husband, and Friend were only a few of the demonstrated strengths he shared. Cousin, Uncle, and Nephew too "Little Ed" was a hero to you.

Edwin Marcus Willis Jr. Was called home on August 2, 2026 He will be missed dearly by a plethora of many many many family members and friends. In heartfelt gratitude his children love him and will miss him dearly. Beloved mother and devout father (Edwin Sr.) he is eternally loved. An honorary mention he leaves behind his Grandmother Patsy Ann Taylor and memories with Grandmother Onetha Willis (deceased 2009).
