Alfred J. Toussaint, aged 84, of Colorado Springs, CO, peacefully passed away on July 26, 2026, at home surrounded by loved ones.
Born on January 19, 1942, in Fort Kent, Maine, Alfred was a cherished son of Ludger and Mary Katherine Toussaint.
Alfred served in the United States Army for two years and was stationed at Fort Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs. He later dedicated 43 years of service to the United States Postal Service.
Alfred lived a life guided by his faith. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and steadfast in his Tridentine Catholic faith. He will be most remembered for his unwavering beliefs, dedication to his family, and his strength and wisdom.
Married on January 28, 1967, Alfred is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Feliciana Toussaint, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage and a life rich in love and laughter. He is survived by his children: AnnaMarie, Shawn (Jackie), Theresa Garrett (Joe), Louise Vigil (Isaac), Martin, Catherine (Jason), Joseph (Darcy) (deceased) and Mary. Alfred and Feliciana had the joy of welcoming 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:
A viewing and Rosary will be held on August 4, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Springs Funeral Services (3115 E. Platte Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80909).
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated August 5, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Mary Help of Christians Traditional Catholic Church (920 E. Cache La Poudre St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903), with Father Augustine Walz officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery (1000 26th Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80904). A simple reception will follow back at Mary Help of Christians.
