Brenda June Nichols Dow Marsh, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 24, 2026.

Brenda was born on November 28, 1946, in Gilmer, Texas, to Bill and Lou Trell Nichols. She graduated from DeSoto High School in 1965. Possessing remarkable musical talent from a young age, Brenda learned to read music before she could read a book. She began playing the steel guitar at just 6 years old, mastered the accordion, and went on to play the flute and piccolo in high school.

A dedicated professional, Brenda spent over 50 years working for Triangle …Pacific/Armstrong before her retirement in 2024.

Brenda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years, Timothy Dow, and her second husband of 4 years, James Marsh.

She is survived by her daughter, Coyneen Frost, and son-in-law, Kevin Frost of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Zachary Sutterfield (30), Jared Sutterfield (26), and Sabrina Sutterfield (23); and her great-grandchildren, Jude Sutterfield and Ember Sutterfield; Her brother Rick Nichols of Waxahachie, TX; and nieces and nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at Colorado Springs Christian Church, October 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM, 5080 List Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80919
