It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dale Brian Maldonado, who left this world on March 30, 2026, at the age of 46. Born on January 23, 1980, in Colorado Springs, CO, Brian was the beloved son of Ana Maldonado and Albert Maldonado. His life was a testament to love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to family, friends, and colleagues.
Brian was a graduate of Mitchell High School, Class of 1998, where he was an enthusiastic participant in both football and baseball. His love for sports continued throughout his life, evident in his participation in a local softball team and his regular presence in the bowling league. A true Denver Broncos fan, Brian cherished the camaraderie and joy of watching games with family and friends.
In 2000, Brian graduated from IntelliTec Colleges with his degree in Computer Technology.
For 28 years, Brian was a dedicated employee at MDM Pumps. His commitment to the company was not just measured in years, but in the countless relationships he nurtured and the indelible impact he left on everyone around him. Brian was not only a co-worker but a cornerstone of the MDM family, known for his reliability, warmth, and the genuine care he extended to all.
Brian's kind heart, warm smile, and beautiful hazel eyes were the hallmarks of a man who was a friend to all. His sense of humor was infectious, bringing joy to those fortunate enough to be in his presence. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Brian's generosity knew no bounds, and his legacy of kindness will forever be cherished.
He leaves behind his beloved fiancé, Molly Monahan, who, together with her children Makayla (Jason Watts and their son Franklin), Brianna, and Jordana. They brought immense joy and love to Brian's life.
Brian is also survived by his loving sisters, Lisa Farwell (Joel) and Lori Finkle (Bill), and his adored nieces, Lauryn, Kristen, Leah, Keira, and Alexandra.
His stepdaughters who treasured him and he them, Betsy Torpen (Anthony), Krista Flos (Sean Vitera), and Chelsey Flos (Josh Winney), along with grandchildren Charlie, Patrick, Elizabeth, Roxann, Jason, Mary, Cheryl, and Amelia. Each of them held a special place in Brian's heart.
In this time of mourning, let us find comfort in the memories of a man who lived fully and loved deeply. Brian Maldonado will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave.
The Memorial Service will be held on April 20th, 2026 at 11A.M.
