George Keven Goodrich

May 3, 1958 — Sep 28, 2026

George Keven Goodrich, "Keven", 68, of Colorado Springs, CO., passed away on September 28 at his home.

Keven was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to Larry and Patricia (McCormick) Goodrich. His family moved to Greeley, Colorado, where Keven spent most of his childhood, graduating from Greeley Central High School in 1976.

After graduation, Keven enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served for four years as a computer programming specialist at Langley Air Force Base, VA. He went on to graduate from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Keven's Air Force years served as a basis for his successful career in software development, though he always described himself as a computer programmer. He worked in several areas of the growing software industry, from war games and GPS as a defense contractor to bug tracking in commercial software. Near the end of his career, he fulfilled a lifelong dream of working on satellite technology for RT Logic/Kratos.

In 1985, Keven married Kelly Brumbelow. They raised two children, Matt and Caren, before divorcing in 2000.

In 2004, Keven entered his second marriage with Pam (Price) Lewis, who brought her two daughters, Allison and Anna, to the family. Keven worked hard to combine families and treat each child equally. He created lasting memories through family vacations to Disney World, Hawaii, Mexico, and more. Holidays and birthdays were treated as special occasions and each child, child's spouse, and grandchild has many happy memories of celebrations with Keven, especially his amazing Christmas decorations.

Keven is survived by his wife, Pam Goodrich; his children, Matt Goodrich and wife Shawna Strickland, Caren (Goodrich) Mull and husband Sean, Allison (Lewis) Burchett and husband Stan, and Anna Lewis and partner Xander Picot; four grandchildren: Sullivan, Collins, Genevieve, and Maxwell; siblings Terry Goodrich and wife Kristin, Shirley Stewart, and William "Bill" Goodrich; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A military service will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on Oct. 26 at 2 p.m., followed by an informal reception at Keven's favorite restaurant, La Casa Fiesta, 230 Front Street, in Monument, starting at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in Keven’s honor are appreciated.
